Cajun Seasoning

A classic Cajun seasoning with smoky paprika, herbs, and adjustable heat for chicken, pork, seafood, and vegetables.

This Cajun seasoning is bold, savory, and flexible, with plenty of flavor even before you add heat. It’s built to work across proteins and cooking methods, and the spice level is completely adjustable. The cayenne and red pepper flakes are optional, so you can keep it mild or turn it up depending on who you’re feeding.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons paprika


1 tablespoon garlic powder


2 teaspoons onion powder


1½ teaspoons salt


1 teaspoon dried oregano


1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves


1 teaspoon ground black pepper


1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (more if you like heat)


½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a bowl or jar.

  2. Stir or shake until evenly combined.

  3. Taste and adjust heat if desired.

  4. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
