Homemade Taco Seasoning

This Homemade Taco Seasoning is a simple pantry blend that replaces store-bought packets and lets you control the heat. Mix it in minutes, store it in a jar, and use it for taco meat, beans, roasted vegetables, fajitas, or even chili.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon chili powder
1½ teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon paprika
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon dried oregano
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
Add chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and cayenne (if using) to a bowl.
Stir until evenly combined.
Store in an airtight jar in a cool, dry place.
To use: Add the full batch (about 3 tablespoons) to 1 pound of meat, beans, or vegetables. Add a splash of water (about ¼ cup) while cooking to help it coat evenly.
