Instant Pot Chicken and Broth

This Instant Pot Chicken and Broth recipe is a two-for-one meal prep staple. You’ll pressure cook chicken breasts with simple seasonings to get tender shredded chicken—plus a flavorful homemade broth you can strain and save for soups, rice, or sauces.
Ingredients
6 large chicken breasts
Water (enough to cover chicken in the Instant Pot)
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chives
Instructions
Place chicken breasts in the Instant Pot. Add enough water to cover the chicken.
Add black pepper, onion powder, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and chives.
Seal the lid. Pressure Cook (High) for 20 minutes.
Let pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then carefully quick release remaining pressure.
Remove chicken and shred with two forks.
Strain the remaining liquid to remove solids. Store broth and shredded chicken separately.Beginner
