Muhammara with Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Muhammara is a bold, savory dip made with roasted red peppers, walnuts, and just enough heat to keep it interesting. This version blends everything smooth with extra virgin olive oil for a rich texture that’s perfect with pita, crackers, or veggie sticks.
Ingredients
½ cup bread crumbs
½ cup walnuts
3 roasted red bell peppers
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 teaspoons maple syrup
3 teaspoons lemon juice
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 clove garlic
½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
Add bread crumbs, walnuts, roasted red peppers, extra virgin olive oil, maple syrup, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, garlic, and salt to a food processor.
Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
Spoon into a serving bowl.
Optional: garnish with chopped walnuts or a drizzle of olive oil.
Serve with pita bread, crackers, or vegetables.
