This Old Bay–Style Seasoning is a quick homemade blend that gives you that classic seafood-boil flavor at home. It’s savory, slightly spicy, and great on shrimp, crab, fish, fries, roasted vegetables, and even popcorn.

Ingredients

4 teaspoons celery salt


1 teaspoon ground mustard


2 teaspoons sweet paprika


½ teaspoon ground bay leaves


1 teaspoon black pepper


⅛ teaspoon ground ginger


1/16 teaspoon cayenne pepper


1/16 teaspoon ground cloves


1/16 teaspoon ground cardamom


1/16 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a bowl and stir until evenly combined.

  2. Pour into an airtight jar and store in a cool, dry place.

  3. Use on seafood, fries, roasted vegetables, popcorn, or chicken.
