Aji Panca adds berry sweetness and a slightly smoky flavor without overwhelming a dish with heat. This Peruvian pepper is useful for pastes, barbecue sauces and rubs, soups, stews, mole, or grilled and stuffed peppers.

Fresh peppers are mild, with a stronger flavor and more noticeable heat after drying. The seed is non-isolated.
