Blot is a sweet bell-type pepper with no heat. Its juicy, crunchy flesh works in salads, sauces, stuffing, roasting, and pickling.

The fruit is about the size of an average bell pepper, with burnt-orange and purple blotches that give the variety its name. Productive plants grow just over 2 feet tall.

This Eastern European variety is also called Klyaksa, meaning “blur” or “blot” in Russian.
