California Wonder is a standard bell pepper with thick, mild, sweet flesh. You can harvest the fruit green or leave it on the plant to ripen fully to red.

Upright, strong plants produce about four or five blocky peppers each. The fruit is usually four-lobed and about 4 inches long by 4 inches wide.
