Collective Farm Woman is a sweet, crunchy winter melon with a long shelf life. The small fruits weigh about 2 pounds and turn golden when ripe.

This Ukrainian heirloom was obtained by Moscow seedswoman Marina Danilenko and introduced to American gardeners by Seed Savers Exchange in 1993.
