Lemondrop Cantaloupe has a tart-sweet flavor with a lemon-like note and the juiciness of honeydew. It was developed with less sugar and more citric acid, which gives it a different flavor from a very sweet cantaloupe.

The skin is netted and golden tan with light green grooves; inside, the flesh is pale green. Eat it fresh, blend it into a summer smoothie, or use it for sorbet. Chunks also work with sweet raspberries or strawberries for a simple fruit dessert.
