Tigger Melon has a strong, sweet, fruity fragrance, but its flavor is much milder than the aroma suggests. The ivory flesh is subtly sweet and crisp, with a mild flavor similar to an Asian pear.

Small fruits reach about half a kilogram and are round to oval with curved ends. Their green stripes turn to varying shades of orange, crimson, and golden yellow as they mature. The smooth, taut skin is semi-thick and firm, and each fruit develops its own pattern.

Inside, the firm, dense, juicy flesh surrounds a central cavity with cream-colored oval seeds held in liquid and white fibers.
