Vine Peach grows small melons about 3 inches across, roughly the size of a peach. The fruit starts green and turns yellow as it ripens, with white flesh and a fruity flavor.

Look for a melon that feels heavier than it looks, has a slightly sweet aroma, and pulls easily from the vine when ripe.

This variety is useful for melon pies and for stretching other fruit dishes, including strawberries. It can also be used to thicken preserves, jellies, or soup without overwhelming the main fruit’s flavor.
